Notagallery is a coworking, exhibition and art studio space that opened in 2022 on one of Berlin's most talked-about streets — known equally for its galleries and its red-light history. The site needed to launch ahead of the space's first opening, with a brand bold enough to hold its own in that environment.
With no photography to lean on yet, the design had to carry the energy on its own. We built it around a dominant neon tiger lily against stark black and white, with oversized, extra-bold typography filling the page — animated type slides across the homepage, bringing the same boldness and dynamism as the space itself.
Above the gallery sits Notaclub, a second venue for music events. It shares Notagallery's identity but inverts the palette as a nod to Berlin's club culture, with a parallax-driven scroll introducing the artists exhibiting at each event alongside their bios and works.
